"Unexpected", what can this title have in common with the star system?
I came to this photographic project, because I wanted to get away from the overly glossy appearance that is in too many celebrity images and I wanted to find something that aroused unexpected emotion. The title "Unexpected" seemed to me then the most suitable.
In this series of images, indeed, my photographic vision wanted to go beyond the appearance and I tried, even in situations excited and confused as the official events, to capture in the characters moments that seemed to me more intimate and spontaneous. I found that with a more emotional and sincere look there is also empathy behind the guise of celebrity.
In the end, finding all this is unexpected for me.
